Warnock and Ossoff are rejecting corporate PAC money and fighting to protect the right to vote
Ossoff is challenging Sen. David Perdue, who works for his corporate donors and has cashed in over $1.8 million in corporate PAC checks over his career
Warnock is running against Sen. Kelly Loeffler, a Big Money 20 incumbent who bought one of Georgia’s Senate seats and faces a competitive primary
End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) today endorsed Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff for U.S. Senate in Georgia. Ossoff is running to unseat incumbent Republican Senator David Perdue in the general election, and Warnock is challenging recently appointed Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler in Georgia’s special election.
Both Warnock and Ossoff are rejecting corporate PAC money. Warnock is a prominent voting rights activist and served as Chair of The New Georgia Project, an organization founded by Stacey Abrams to register people of color to vote. Ossoff is an investigative journalist and media executive whose business produces hard-hitting, award-winning investigations of political corruption and war crimes.

After Senator Johnny Isakson’s retirement announcement, Senator Kelly Loeffler bought one of Georgia’s Senate seats after promising to spend $20 million of her own fortune for her reelection bid. Senator David Perdue has been in the pocket of corporate special interests his entire career, having taken over $1.8 million from corporate PACs and rewarding his corporate donors by voting to cut corporate taxes, protect Big Pharma’s profits, and give big banks more power.
A bipartisan poll shows that a majority of voters see corruption in the political system as the most serious problem facing the country, especially among independents. The poll also finds that unlimited, undisclosed political contributions and the influence of big money in politics are seen as major problems.
ECU and LAV recently merged to combat the two biggest challenges facing our democracy: Big Money and voter suppression. ECU is dedicated to getting Big Money out of politics and fixing the rigged system in Washington so that the government works for all Americans. LAV is building a grassroots effort to fight back against voter suppression and protect every American’s right to vote.
