Let America Vote statement on New Hampshire Supreme Court’s reversal of Senate Bill 3 injunction

Kansas City, MO —  Let America Vote Board Chairman Abe Rakov issued the following statement on Friday in response to news that the New Hampshire Supreme Court has stayed a lower-court injunction blocking the state from enforcing provisions of Senate Bill 3 during next month’s midterm election. The Supreme Court order means SB 3’s provisions are restored and in effect for the upcoming election.

“We’re disappointed to see the New Hampshire Supreme Court restore the anti-voter provisions of Senate Bill 3, adding confusion to the process just days before a critically important election,” Let America Vote Board Chairman Abe Rakov said. “This law already makes it harder for eligible Granite Staters to vote. Canceling an injunction and putting it back into effect at this late stage just injects more uncertainty into the voting process, harming voters and undermining our democracy.”
