Let America Vote statement on Democrats winning a supermajority in the Nevada Assembly

Kansas City, Mo. — Let America Vote Board Chairman Abe Rakov issued the following statement on Wednesday after Nevada Democrats clinched a supermajority in the state Assembly:

“A Democratic supermajority in the Nevada state Assembly is a victory for voting rights, ensuring that pro-voter, pro-democracy priorities are on the agenda in the Silver State,” Let America Vote Board Chairman Abe Rakov said. “Let America Vote is proud to have contributed to this result by knocking doors and supporting outstanding candidates from Las Vegas to Reno. We look forward to working with them in 2019 and beyond.”

Let America Vote set up shop in Nevada in June, and spent more than five months knocking doors and contacting voters in targeted legislative districts.
