Jason Kander Statement on Indictments Related to Attempts by Russians to Suppress Voters

Following today’s indictments from Special Counsel Robert Mueller and allegations that Russian operatives attempted to suppress minority voters to benefit Donald Trump’s candidacy, Let America Vote President Jason Kander released the following statement:

“This is not a hoax. This is an attack on our democracy and it’s time for Republicans to be honest about it and get serious about preventing it from happening again. Russians are interested in voter suppression for the same reasons that Republicans are: because it helps Republicans win elections. It’s partisan, it’s wrong and it’s un-American for Congress to continue to do nothing.”
