Jason Kander Statement on Pence/Kobach Request for Data on Every American Voter

After the Pence/Kobach commission yesterday sent letters to elections officials across the country requesting personal information on every registered U.S. voter, Let America Vote President Jason Kander made the following statement:

“It’s obviously very concerning when the federal government is attempting to get the name, address, birth date, political party and social security number of every voter in the country. I certainly don’t trust the Trump Administration with that information, and people across the country should be outraged.”
